The Monster Under My BedThere's a friendly monster under my bed
It's small and pink and covered in fur
If I keep it there it'll soon be dead
It's awful but I don't want it to hurt
It whispers of nice fluffy plots in my ear
At a quarter to midnight, sometimes
All of my ships and my dreams and my fears
Mixed up and accompanied by tinkling chimes
Beautiful, always, and I'm so inspired
But I give it all up by next morning
The ideas have gone and my good mood's expired
Where'd they all leave to? I'm mourning
And again in a week, or a day or two
My little pink monster fills up my blank mind
Wonderful stories--the same ones, it's true
Too bad I'll forget again, it's how I'm inclined
Yet after a time of repeated reminders
Those lovely inklings are here to stay
My weakened mind has slowly been conquered
Until I write, they won't go away
There's a friendly monster atop my hand

I really like the heart pattern. With the girl in it, it looks like a nice desctop background.
I'm not aa big fan of pixel stuff, so I'd prefer everything being more smooth and less pixelish...but it's a nice work anyway

I don't usually draw large things with pixels, for the same reason you said you don't prefer pixel drawings as much. But there are a lot of people who are really really good at pixel drawings to the point where you can't even tell things were made one pixel at a time. This was good practice, I guess.
